Why a woman’s support group?
Purpose of a woman’s support group is to equip and encourage women whatever their circumstances in life.
Sisterhood of Hope
A cancer support group called Sisterhood of Hope is designed to encourage those women dealing with cancer or those who are survivors. This is a group of sisters drawn together by cancer and held together by hope. We have all been touched by cancer in some way and rely on the hope that only God can give us. It is through this hope that we survive and thrive. Sisterhood of Hope also supports our local events for cancer awareness and fund raisers.

It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you may feel that nobody really understands or cares about your loss. That is not true. The GriefShare ministry at Englewood Baptist Church was started for that very reason to extend a loving hand to those experiencing the deep pain of grief. For more information, please contact Pastor Greg O'Neil in the church office @ (252) 937-8254
