Coming up this week in BFG:

God sustained His people in exile and demonstrated His opposition to those who rose up against Him and ignored His warnings. The story of Belshazzar and the “writing on the wall” is a vivid illustration of the truth that “the Most High God is ruler over the kingdom of men and sets anyone He wants over it” (Dan. 5:21). From this event, we learn that we should not place our faith in the security of earthly kingdoms or leaders who exalt themselves above God. Knowing the consequences of rebellion, we heed the warnings of God and we lovingly warn others of God’s judgment.

Everyday, there are portions of Scripture for you to read and meditate on during the week.

On Sunday, each BFG will then study the portion of scripture that we read the previous week.

Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Matt. 28:19,20
