Englewood Baptist Church is looking for ways to intentionally demonstrate the love
of Jesus Christ to our community and
Love Loud
Make sure to look for our Love Loud Community Events:

There are many ways to be involved in “taking the gospel to the streets”
in our community:

Love Loud with NC Wesleyan College International Students
Currently, there are 76 international students enrolled this semester that should have a Christ-following family embrace them with the love of Christ while they study in our city. Through different events to be held in the coming school year, we have been given a great opportunity to Love Loud in the nations right here in our own community!  If you would like to receive information about events and opportunities, please contact Ashley Parker or Pastor Gene Davis at gene@englewoodbaptist.com.

Transportation from NCWC to Englewood Baptist Church is now available. A van will pick up students at 8:45 am outside Nash Hall before the college Bible Fellowship Group (BFG) meets at 9:15 and return students to NCWC after the 10:45 Worship Service.  If you have any questions, contact the church office.

Love Loud in Schools
Opportunities are available to serve as a mentor on Wednesday afternoons here at EBC or as an in-school tutor with our community school Winstead Avenue Elementary.  This year we are offering two time slots (3:15pm & 4:45pm) available for volunteers to serve.  We could easily serve 50 kids each week but can only accept the number of kids that equal the number of volunteers that make a commitment to serve weekly.  Contact Pastor Jordan Reese in the church office for information.

Love Loud with Victory Readers
EBC hosts Victory Readers, a summer school for English as a Second Language (ESL) for elementary students.  We focus on discipleship and language arts skills at Victoria En Cristo Baptist Church in Battleboro. We need people who enjoy working with children and are interested in serving for one to six weeks as a teacher, assistant, worship or music leader, or a van driver.  Victory Readers was a great success this summer.  Please look for details about next year.  If you are interested contact Tammy Long  252-937-8950.
