The reason for the existence of Englewood Baptist Church is to glorify God.
“We glorify God…” (Hebrews 10:24-25)
• As we gather to worship Him.
• As we become more like Jesus Christ.
• As we become a part of a multitude from every nation, tribe, people and language knowing and worshiping the Lord Jesus Christ.
“…by making disciples…” (Matthew 28:18-20)
* Every person hears;
* Every believer shares;
* Every disciple trains beginning in Rocky Mount and extending around the World.
“…of all nations.” (Psalm 67:1-2)
Everything we do at Englewood Baptist Church, we do ultimately for the sake of God’s glory in all nations. Through short-term missions, and investing in international partners and churches we want to spread the glory of His name to all nations.
We accomplish the purpose for our very existence when men and women are multiplying the Gospel by making disciples of all nations with their lives. We are a faith family full of world-impacting disciples who really believe that as a church we can shake the nations for His glory!
Englewood has embraced what was once an unengaged, unreached people group in Asia called the Koli Mahar. As a church we are committed to go wherever it takes and do whatever it takes for as long as it takes to plant healthy, indigenous, reproducing churches among the Koli Mahar.
